University of Jeddah Welcomes the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Universities Affairs Council

University of Jeddah had the honor of welcoming His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Universities Affairs Council, Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan, in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Universities Affairs Council, Prof. Nasser Al-Aqili. His Excellency was received by the President of the University of Jeddah, Prof. Obeid Al-Mutairi, along with the University Vice Presidents.

During the visit, the University showcased a number of its strategic and high-impact initiatives that embody its vision of building a sustainable national competitive advantage and reinforce its contribution to achieving the objectives of the Universities Leadership Initiative.

The visit also featured a briefing by His Excellency on the Ministry of Education’s strategic directions in governance and quality. This was followed by a dialogue with the University’s leadership, focusing on advancing faculty development, strengthening research and innovation, and enhancing the institutional enablers that support an outstanding academic environment.
