Volunteer Initiatives
ورش عمل
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is actively working to foster a culture of volunteerism and equip young people with the essential skills and knowledge needed to contribute effectively to community development, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.
From this perspective, the national volunteering program "Raaed" (Pioneer) was launched. Its aim is to qualify male and female students to become distinguished and professional leaders in the volunteering field, capable of developing high-quality initiatives that serve the community and promote sustainable development.
The University of Jeddah has been chosen as the first Saudi university to host the program's advanced levels. This comes as part of a partnership between the Ministry of Energy and the Al-Fozan Academy, which is affiliated with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
